This customer wanted a small section of vinyl siding and the upper hardy board shakes painted white. Once the vinyl siding was properly cleaned and prepped it was time to apply a light coat of bonding primer. Once the primer had dried we put on a light coat of 100% acrylic paint on the siding. When painting vinyl siding light coats are applied to ensure we don’t glue the siding together it has to be able to expand and contract so that it doesn’t buckle.Once the first coat of topcoat was fully dry we applied a final coat of paint. Then on to the hardy shakes to be painted to match the lower section of the home. After a quick sanding and dusting we caulked any cracks with elastomeric caulking and applied the first of 2 coats of 100% acrylic paint. Then a good clean up and off to the next job
